An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and self-motivated Band 6 Senior Therapeutic Radiographers to join our Radiotherapy Team. You will work as a rotational member of the team working in both pre-treatment and treatment delivery with the additional opportunity to work in the Radiotherapy planning area of the department. Main duties of the job
We have 4 Varian Truebeam linear accelerators, two of which have Vision RT Surface Guided Radiotherapy. We are a Varian department using Aria and the Eclipse planning system. As a progressive teaching centre for Student Radiotherapists, the trust has established links with Sheffield Hallam University where our educational facilities include a seminar room. The Trust actively encourages CPD and role extension with support available to pursue academic courses to further develop and enhance your skills. Minimum Requirements
HCPC Registered as Therapeutic Radiographer BSc or equivalent in Radiotherapy & Oncology Evidence of postgraduate study Leadership training Experience
Extensive experience working as a qualified therapeutic radiographer Knowledge of a wide range of Radiotherapy techniques Previous experience with Varian linacs Leadership evidence / acting up as a band 6 Supporting Information
Quality of supporting information Awareness of IR(ME) R Evidence of additional skills, i.e. internal auditor Mentor / Assessor training Working for our organisation
