About the role:

SEN Teaching Assistant: Join a vibrant Barnet primary school as an SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting students in Year 3 and Year 5. Split your day between assisting a child with ADHD to stay focused and helping a diabetic student manage their condition (training provided). Build strong relationships with pupils, foster confidence, and collaborate with staff and parents to ensure success.

Application Requirements: SEN TA:

Experience in education or working with children (preferred). A proactive, compassionate attitude. Willingness to train in medical care (diabetes support). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Passion for supporting children with SEN.

Key Responsibilities as an SEN TA:

Assist children with ADHD and diabetes management. Provide tailored support to SEN pupils. Build positive relationships to enhance learning. Collaborate with teachers and parents. Adapt to individual needs in a dynamic environment.
