A bit about the role: Rowan Tree House is a forever home in a beautiful setting in Gloucestershire, the home is for a young person with complex needs. Rowan Tree House will provide the young person who lives there with a home for life, giving them stability, consistency, and appropriate care and support, while helping them integrate into the community and achieve supported independence as they transition into adulthood. As the Registered Manager, you will provide support to the Area Manager (also the Responsible Individual) to help launch and run a newly established team, in a brand-new forever home in Gloucestershire. This role would suit someone with previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager. We welcome applications from either Residential Children's or Adult care. To help us achieve this, you will: Manage and lead a team of professional social care staff. Create a strong and high-achieving team. Liaise with our key stakeholders within and outside Action for Children. Support the Area Manager in data collection and analysis. Let's talk about you. The job description at the bottom of the advert outlines the requirements of the role but the 'must-haves' are: Passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives. Possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare / Adults (or recognised equivalent) is essential and a Level 5 Diploma. Experience of Ofsted or CQC is an advantage but not essential. Previously worked as Deputy Manager/Registered Manager preferred but not essential. Experience of supervising and supporting a staff team. To hold a qualification relevant to the work or extensive experience and ongoing professional development. Knowledge and experience of quality assurance approach to children's services. Experience of analysing data and management information to support continual service improvement and development. Good to know.
