Senior Therapy Assistant

·
Full time
Are you passionate about quality care for your patients?

Do you believe in a holistic approach, treating people and not their conditions?

Are you also passionate about your own career development and do you care about your well-being?

KCFT are an "Outstanding" rated Trust and one of the largest NHS Community organisations in the UK. Our mission is pretty simple: empower our communities to live well and be a great employer.

We are looking for a Band 4 Senior Therapy Assistant to join our Community Neuro Rehab Team.

We provide short-term rehabilitation to enable patients, where possible, to remain in the community rather than be admitted to hospital or long-term care, and to live as independently as possible.

Your role will be absolutely key in the support of our patients. You will help with the undertaking of treatment plans and use your clinical judgement to keep people as safe as possible. Full duties can be found in the job description.

Please note due to the community-based nature, you will need a driving licence and a vehicle.

Rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC, we’ve got a passion for delivering high standards of patient care and excellent services to improve the health of our communities. We know a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion leads to better patient care and a happier workforce. We pride ourselves in being diverse and welcome applications from people with varied backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.

As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want you to be able to work in a way that is best for us, for our patients, and for you. Talk to us about a flexible working arrangement that won’t involve sacrificing time for personal interests or family commitments. We’ll support you to work flexibly in a way that suits us both.
