Role : Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location : Stevenage Area (with travel to London)
Salary : 55,000 to 68,000 + car & package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor with a growing pipeline of projects across North London, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a growing team that provides a wide range of services including ground engineering, building, design and engineering, electrical and mechanical services and utility connections. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in the business, working on large, exciting projects across the transportation, water and energy sectors.
Responsibilities: Management and preparation of internal commercial reports as required Management of the Cost Reports to the clients team with all relevant contractual documentation Identify and manage key risks and opportunities across a small portfolio of projects Ensure all subcontract & material procurement schedules are prepared and updated Draft subcontract orders including all PSA's Provide support to junior members of the commercial team Support the Managing QS and Commercial Manager where possible
Qualifications: A solid understanding of the NEC suite of contracts Previous experience working on civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or mechanical and electrical projects Excellent communication skills Driven, ambitious and keen to develop
