About the role We are looking for a Lead Clinician & Speech andLanguage Therapist. An understanding of the education system isdesirable and the ability to work systemically as part of amulti-disciplinary team is essential. The role will involve workingclosely with school SMT to identify priorities and will be workingto embed clinical thinking within education practices for the bestlife outcomes for the students. Collaboration and teamwork areessential skills. You will be responsible forholding a therapy caseload with the full support of ourwell-established and knowledgeable clinical network and growingClinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training andconsultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, thisposition would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with atherapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well asmanage their own workload and supervise others. This is an excitingand innovative time for the Clinical Team so please get in touch tofind out more. Working within overall frameworkof the service policies and procedures, you will be supporting theintegration of the specific service in the day to day running ofeach provision i.e., standardised assessments and clinicalservices. A key aspect of the role will be to deliver the wellbeingand clinical rainbow strategy at a universal, enhanced andspecialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our pupils’needs in line with set Education, Health Plan (EHCP). Our well-established Clinical Team, maintain anurturing environment where our learners can flourish, alwaysputting them at the forefront of everything they do. All oursettings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and our studentsare heard, respected and involved in decisions that affect themwherever possible. EssentialCriteria: Recogniseddegree in either, Occupational Therapy, Speech & LanguageTherapy, Psychotherapy or registered as a Practitioner Psychologistwith the HCPC. Valid and up to dateprofessional Registration & membership of professional bodye.g. HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT Experience within thespecialist client group; working with autistic individuals andthose with complex needs.
