Are you an innovative Senior Finance Leader eager to make a significant impact in the engineering sector? Sulzer is seeking a strategic and enthusiastic Head of Finance to join our vibrant GT Aero division in Netherley, Aberdeen. In this crucial role, you will oversee all finance functions, drive business controlling efforts, and lead the implementation of state-of-the-art ERP solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to influence financial strategies and inspire a talented team within a company that champions innovation and excellence.

Your main tasks and responsibilities: Lead a finance team while supporting daily operations and long-term strategic planning. Collaborate with senior management to efficiently coordinate and manage business activities. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control whilst providing financial guidance. Direct the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts and ensure compliance with IAS, IFRS, and UK GAAP reporting standards. Manage cash flow, reduce financial risks (including foreign exchange), and oversee key contracts. Spearhead the implementation of a new ERP system (MS Dynamics 365) to enhance financial operations. Uphold company policies on Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certified). To succeed in this role, you will need: Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA (or an international equivalent). A proven background in finance at a senior level, preferably in complex engineering or project-based environments. Extensive experience overseeing company finances and driving strategic financial initiatives. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, alongside experience with ERP systems (SAP or MS Dynamics) and a hands-on approach. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
