The Role

As a Lead Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and defining our products, from a user-centric perspective. Day-to-day you’ll work with partners and stakeholders across our organisation to deliver experiences and service designs that drive desired outcomes and our business strategy as a whole.

As well as delivering exceptional experiences, you’ll also lead others within the Design Team by collaborating on defining our systems, processes and ceremonies.

As the Lead Product Designer, you’ll act as Design ambassador, advocating for Design wherever possible, educating and sharing knowledge, whilst also broadening that of our team. What will you be doing?

Lead and oversee all phases of the design process, from concept to execution; both delivering design artefacts (wireframes, visual designs, etc), whilst also helping others. Lead the development and maintenance of our Design Systems and other Design assets, helping to ensure quality and consistency across Design. Mentor and guide other Designers, providing constructive feedback, fostering a collaborative environment. Encourage the sharing of skills and knowledge and feedback, both within our immediate team and our partners within the organisation. Build strong relationships with Product, Engineering, and other relevant teams across our organisation. Communicate design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, incorporating feedback as necessary. Conduct and be a part of regular user research to gather insights and validate design decisions. Seek out new insights and learnings about our users, helping our team to take more effective and efficient design decisions. Help our team to remain up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, both within Design and the Workspace industry.

Who are we looking for?

Alignment with our company behaviours: Play To Win, Own Your Outcome, Solve It Together, Help Each Other Grow Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. 7+ years of being a practitioner in product design. Proven experience in a leadership role within a design team. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of experiences from different domains, showcasing conceptual thinking, high-fidelity visuals, and success KPIs/criteria. Proficiency in design tools such as, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Sketch, etc.). Experience in facilitating and user research, synthesising findings, and utilising web/behavioural analytics, to drive design improvements. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts effectively. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail.
