This role plays a key part in the agency’s commercial success, and as such the Growth Director sits on the Leadership Team. The Growth Director is primarily responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing growth strategies for organic and new growth that ensures that Global Marketing meets and exceeds revenue targets set each year. This person partners closely with the leaders of Global Marketing and peers across the group, particularly with US Marketing and all capabilities. This person can collaborate well with a team as a subject-matter expert, consultant, and team player. What you’ll do

Lead the annual strategic growth plan: determining the scale of task, identifying must-win clients based on marketplace and pipeline, size of commercial prize (launch), low-hanging fruit to match the talent and experience within the agency. Radically improve Pitch2Win ratio to 33% in year one and 50% in year 2 and increase thereafter, maintaining that going forward through effective triage of which pursuits to chase and which to say no to, ensuring our best-effort responses and commercial savviness in pricing. Work with senior client partnership colleagues to drive organic growth across existing portfolio work, through stretching scopes and identifying new opportunities across brands, channels, and capabilities. Work across the group to encourage better partnership and ‘door-opening’ to existing client relationships across the group. Inform and influence the go-to-market approach for Global Marketing based on feedback from clients and procurement teams on what is selling and where opportunities lie. Influence the kind of ‘products’ we should be selling based on what clients know they want and what we know they need. Encourage and facilitate opportunity-spotting and up-selling across the whole agency. About you

Growth mindset with an infectious optimism for our ability to succeed. Explicitly champion the agency as best in market internally and externally. Strong procurement and client relationships, excellent at maintaining and growing these. Behave as a team player and trusted adviser to the LT and President. An excellent collaborator that can balance candid feedback with positive energy. Successful at achieving all KPIs. Understand the principle and application of managing the pipeline funnel.
