The Global Engineering Team, reporting to the Senior Global Director of Development, comprises subject matter experts in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Systems, BIM, and other fields. The team’s main responsibilities include owning and maintaining the GRD, overseeing the technical selection and governance of OFCI equipment, and ensuring compliance with our standardized delivery plan at every stage of project development. The broader Development Team includes Development Managers who handle land acquisition, procurement and coordination of power, fiber, local authority permitting, and other pre-construction activities. Regional Engineering Teams, consisting of Design Managers and Specialists (such as BMS, Security, etc.), have design authority at the project level and interface with or escalate technical challenges to the Global Engineering Team for direction and guidance. Extensive knowledge and experience in the design, deployment, and commissioning of critical power systems in Data Centers or similar critical environments. Experience in collaborating with both internal and external project stakeholders, including customers, project managers, design consultants, commissioning agents, cost consultants, equipment suppliers, and general contractors. In-depth understanding of Data Centre design processes. Proven experience in Hyperscale Data Centre design and delivery. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant standards and legislation for critical Mechanical Services Systems such as BS EN, IEC, and DIN. Demonstrated experience in preparing and submitting technical documentation, including scope of services, technical requirements, standards, design guides, etc. Familiarity with Health and Safety legislation and CDM regulations.
