The Director of International and Special Projects is a senior leadership role focused on driving strategic initiatives and managing complex lift projects on a global scale. This position involves overseeing international business development, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and interfacing with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans for international expansion and special projects. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and partnerships globally. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of special projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure project alignment with company goals. Build and maintain relationships with international clients, partners, and stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and agreements with international partners and suppliers. Ensure all projects comply with local and international regulations and standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with international projects. Lead and mentor a team of consulting engineers. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications/Qualifikationen Essential Criteria: MSc in lift engineering or equivalent experience Registered as a Chartered Engineer CEng or in process of application. Extensive experience in design and project management within the lift industry. Specific design experience of high rise VT systems in multi-use developments Proven track record of managing international projects and teams. Understanding of RIBA Stages of work and VT related deliverables required at each stage. Experience of working with premium architects and within multi-disciplinary teams. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Understanding of applicable standards and how these are applied internationally. Proficiency in Lift design software and tools. E.g Elevate Ability to develop innovative analytical methods and techniques. Knowledge of international business practices.
