Area Sales Manager required for account management and new sales of pest control products, covering the Midlands and North of UK. Up to £35K base + OTE (c£50K in total first year).

The Area Sales Manager will achieve monthly sales targets by maintaining and developing relationships with a customer base (200+ established accounts) in the North of England and develop new business with prospects and lapsed accounts.

Account Management:

Maintain regular contact with customers on the buying platform. Sell the full range of group products to your customers. Ensure customers remain adequately stocked with the group range, introducing new products where possible. Provide up to date product information, including product changes. Develop an understanding of each customer, the market they sell into and the way they promote the products. Ensure the company is the sole supplier by selling the features, advantages and benefits of products. Develop an understanding and keep up to date with competitors' products. New Business Development:

Convert new business and expand offering to the current customer base. Aim to visit and convert as many prospects as possible. Candidate Requirements:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will use their initiative and strive to over-deliver as well as: A good level of education and qualifications. Previous sales experience - ideally pest control products or similar. Problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate on all levels. A good level of communication, conversational and persuasive skills required. Self-motivated, hunter mentality with a sense of urgency. Be based in the North of England.
