Competitive, Overtime rates available Job Description: We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to start on a project on behalf of our client in Kidlington, Oxfordshire (OX5) for a 7-month contract. This role requires a hands-on leader who has prior on-site experience and is capable of overseeing and managing electrical installation work. You will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations, ensuring the electrical team works efficiently, safely, and meets all project deadlines with on-site presence. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of electricians on-site, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with electrical standards and health & safety regulations. Conduct daily toolbox talks and site inductions, ensuring the team is briefed on the day's tasks and any safety issues. Oversee electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Monitor and track progress of work, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard. Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations, including the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations. Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Provide hands-on support to the team, resolving issues and ensuring safe working practices. Qualifications and Experience Required:
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification. SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification. First Aid certification. CSCS Card (relevant to the electrical trade). Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor with hands-on experience on the tools. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a strong emphasis on site safety. Contract Details:
