Up to £48,000 per annum + contributory pension We’re now looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside the .Net Development, SQL Development, and MI Development teams. This role is pivotal in assuring quality and driving automated test initiatives and processes across a number of bespoke applications. Working closely with other test-focused individuals and developers, the position will devise test strategies, own test plans and approaches, provide oversight and guidance to others to define testable system components, and support and/or assist in the implementation, design, and execution of both manual and automated testing. The role will focus on Unit, Functional, Integration, Manual and Automated testing, considering test data sets, data generation, and data anonymisation. Responsibilities / Skills

Collaboration with both the business and business analysts to elicit testable functional and non-functional requirements. Creation of test plans and test cases focused around both manual testing and automation tools. Contribute towards the overall development and testing strategy to deliver high-quality applications. Support User Acceptance Testing. Work alongside developers to guide and assist in the implementation of coded tests (unit, integration, and automated UI). Assist in the implementation of coded tests. Investigation, maintenance, and use of Continuous Integration tools to ensure quality. Produce supporting test documentation. Maintain Source Control. Actively contribute to continuous Test Process Improvements. You’ll need to evidence the following qualifications, skills, and experience: Essential:

Strong Manual Test background with a solid understanding of the various test techniques available. Strong T-SQL skills. Experience with Scrum or other Agile methodologies. Experience in the use of Continuous Integration tools. Knowledge and experience of Automation Frameworks (Web driver, Selenium, SQL, API, or other). Experience in the use of source control repository, ideally TFS. Prior experience of application test automation. Desirable:

C#.net and Object-Oriented Programming and Design or Strong T-SQL Skills and Experience of SSIS. Familiarisation with unit testing. Development experience/aspirations. Experience of developing enterprise-level applications. Database Unit Testing knowledge. JavaScript testing frameworks. Service Oriented Architecture development experience. Understanding or experience of: Team Foundation Server, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy. The Benefits:
