A highly respected and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its esteemed Private Wealth team based in Woking. The firm provides legal support to a diverse range of clients, including individuals with substantial assets, business interests, international connections, and complex family structures.

The Role The successful candidate will handle a wide range of private client matters, including: Lifetime and succession planning. Drafting and advising on Wills as part of comprehensive estate planning strategies. Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney. Creating, administering, and winding up trusts. Managing estate administration, including high-net-worth cases involving assets between £5m-£20m. This position offers a hybrid working model, with an expectation to spend three days per week in the Woking office.

Key Responsibilities Managing a diverse caseload of private client matters independently and efficiently. Collaborating with colleagues on more complex cases requiring team involvement. Providing clear, practical, and empathetic advice tailored to clients' individual needs. Contributing to business development initiatives to support the growth of the Private Wealth team. Staying informed about changes in private client law and engaging in continuous professional development.

About the Candidate The ideal candidate will: Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, with approximately 1-3 years' PQE in private client law. Have experience managing a caseload of private client matters, including Wills, trusts, and estate administration. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Demonstrate a proactive, client-focused approach and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes. Be a team player with a collaborative mindset and a passion for professional excellence.
