The Commercial Pricing Manager

will be responsible for developing and executing targeted pricing strategies to capture the utilities market while maximising growth and profitability. The successful candidate will possess a strong blend of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills to drive competitive pricing initiatives and support overall business objectives.

The role

Own the Pricing Strategy: Develop targeted pricing strategies and deal structures to capture the utilities market. Set the target price level for all Arqiva utilities offerings. Create and maintain price models, supporting bid pricing responses (e.g., financing).

Maximize Growth and Profit: Drive more RFP wins with competitive and compelling price proposals. Secure TCV (Total Contract Value) profitability over time through value engineering. Create and enforce pricing policies and guidelines.

Centralise and Share Knowledge: Collaborate to gather insights and input on pricing strategies. Stay informed about industry trends and customer requirements. Establish a feedback loop by sharing data and knowledge of past bids and competitor intelligence.

Streamline Process Delivery: Bridge between finance and commercial teams to facilitate governance processes. Support sales and bid teams during price negotiations and client presentations. Develop and bring new offerings to market in collaboration with central teams.

The person Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional project management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex technical information. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
