Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centres Vertical Recruitment are proud to be working closely with a leading global Building Services Consultancy, now operating in central Manchester with ambitious growth plans. The company is one of the world’s leading consultancies in the Data Centre Sector. An independent multi-award-winning business with an excellent industry reputation, they work with both developers and internationally recognised end users, designing Data Centre Projects globally, with typical project values reaching the multibillion-pound region. As the Manchester office develops, the business is looking to appoint several key individuals. As such, there is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team. Successful applicants will have a relevant degree and sufficient industry experience to operate as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Key functions include: Electrical building services design for data centre projects throughout Europe and globally. Contributing to the team to ensure successful preparation and delivery on project objectives, including providing technical support. Communicating effectively with both internal and external design teams, clients, and collaborators to ensure successful project delivery. Compiling specifications, drawings, and relevant contract documents while maintaining the required technical quality of work, ensuring that designs comply with the relevant codes, standards, regulations, and procedures. Key Benefits to the role include: Data projects are MEP Lead – Often the business is employed by the client in a lead role. Secure workload, currently in framework agreements with major global brand name clients, as well as working for leading developers in the field. The Data Centre sector is, in comparison to other sectors, very profitable. This is reflected in benefits, company equipment, offices, social events, and company investment into employee further qualifications and training. Very competitive salary and performance-related annual bonus. Travel, mainly throughout Europe, 2-3 days once a month. A hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. The business is looking to hire a high-calibre Senior Electrical Engineer.

No previous Data Centre experience is required.
