Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will be instrumental in developing, defining, and implementing the strategy for the engineering department. In addition, your key responsibilities will also include:
Working closely with the Operations Director to lead, manage and develop a customer-focused engineering team.
Embedding best practices in continuous improvement, value engineering, and design for manufacturing.
Engaging with relevant stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and manufacturers to drive improvements in reliability and cost of goods.
Playing a key role in interpreting customer needs, being the Voice of the Customer both internally and externally, and being directly involved in the development and introduction of new products.
The Candidate
Ideally with a Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, this role requires an individual with extensive knowledge of best practices in CI, value engineering, DFM, together with NPD/NPI. Your CV and experience
