Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton Salary: Up to 55k Working under the Design Manager as part of the engineering design team, your role as the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will include: Producing designs for a wide range of automated special-purpose machinery Producing mechanical and material calculations Diagnosing modifications and improvements to existing equipment Ensuring design & manufacturing feasibility of solutions As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will: Have previous experience in bespoke machinery design Have confident knowledge of material handling systems Have experience designing hydraulic/fluid power systems Have confident experience of design for manufacture Be confident in managing your own projects from beginning to end Be able to support manufacturing and installation activities Be able to support junior engineers Be able to communicate with colleagues & customers effectively Desirable skills: Experience in Solidworks Experience in AutoCAD Experience of the coil processing industry Experience of machine assembly and installation Note:
