RF Design Engineer
Role Overview We are working with a leading organisation in radio communications to hire an experienced RF Design Engineer to join their research and development team in Cambridge. This role involves contributing to the design and development of advanced radio products and working with a global client base.
Key Responsibilities Designing and developing radio transceivers within specified frequency bands. Prototyping circuits and overseeing PCB layouts. Operating and managing RF testing equipment. Supporting the product life-cycle from design to production and beyond.
Ideal Candidate Profile Significant experience in RF design - 10+ years in multiple MHz ranges, including components like filters, amplifiers, oscillators, and power amplifiers. Proficiency in RF design methods, including circuit simulation tools and performance optimisation. Experience with analogue circuit design for a range of frequencies. Strong skills in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting RF designs. Degree in engineering or a related scientific field. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team or work independently.
