Job Role: Our client is a dynamic and expanding organisation recognised globally for its commitment to quality in the manufacturing sector.
They are looking for a talented Research and Development (R&D) Engineer to help innovate and develop products such as vehicle seating, hoods, safety equipment, and much more.
In this role, you will be essential to their success, requiring reliability, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong adherence to safety protocols.
Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with Team Leaders and Managers, but your ability to take initiative and work independently is equally important.
Job Responsibilities: Develop, sew and trim seats to drawing specifications. Ability to use tools; air, electric and manual to a high standard. Maintain work area to 5S. Responsible for quality control of own work. Take responsibility for tools and equipment issued. Complete all relevant paperwork accurately. Follow instruction regarding Development Schedule. Maintain a positive and friendly company image to all customers, suppliers and staff. Follow company quality guidelines, raising any concerns to management. Comply at all times with company procedures, including Health and Safety policy and ISO accreditation. May be required to drive company vehicle. Other duties, as required, by the business.
Requirements: Previous experience of working within a similar role. Full clean UK Driving licence
