Overview:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with Mechanical Engineering experience to join a growing team for a company that supplies a range of industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Life Sciences.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving a quality and right first-time culture within the functional area, while ensuring operational compliance in line with company procedures, specifications, and customer/certification requirements. Responsibilities:

Support the front-end of the business's Contract review process. Interface with Customers on inspection / FAIRS. Drive a Quality and Right First-Time culture within the functional area. Support and guide the implementation of root cause and corrective actions. Develop plans to improve the business score within the business's COS. Support and conduct audits - as required - product and process. Monitor and escalate internal product quality issues. Identify gaps relating to processes and implement procedural changes. Qualifications:

Experience within manufacturing environments. Knowledge/experience of Contract review. Qualifications within Mechanical Engineering - preferably related to the industry. Good business acumen with a focus on business goals. Good problem-solving skills and an investigative mentality. Good interpersonal and negotiation skills. Proactive, highly motivated, and a self-starter. Day-to-day:

Supporting the front-end of the business's Contract review process. Day-to-day support of Operational Quality issues. Interface with Customers on inspection / FAIRS. Drive a Quality and Right First-Time culture within the functional area. Support and guide the implementation of root cause and corrective actions. Enhancement and adherence to the internal procedures and quality plans as defined.
