An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This role offers the chance to drive financial strategy and operational efficiency across multiple business units whilst managing a small team.
What will the Financial Accounting Manager role involve? Leadership of Accounting team with direct line management of two members of staff (Assistant Accountant and Accounts Payable Team Leader). Management of the following key financial processes to ensure effective business control & quality. Annual Statutory Accounts audit. Act as the focal point for accounting with regards to new ERP system roll out. Review and improve processes to meet recognised accounting standards and to optimise financial control.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accounting Manager vacancy: Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a proven track record in financial leadership. Proactive and able to take initiative to address issues & implement improvements across the business. Excellent people management skills, able to motivate individuals and lead the team. Extensive experience of ERP systems. Experience with system implementations would be desired but not essential.
