Job Description

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within Integrated Utility Services and we are looking for an experienced HSQE Manager. This role can be based at either our Stockton or Wakefield office. The HSQE Manager is a role aimed at monitoring business unit compliance with legislative and company requirements within the field of health, safety, quality and environment. This involves the management, coaching and development of individuals and teams as well as the development of systems and procedures to aid compliance with internal and external requirements. Along with a competitive salary of up to £75,000 we also offer great benefits such as: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Performance bonus of up to 20% Agile working Enrolment into our double matched pension scheme A car allowance scheme Key Responsibilities Formulation and communication of strategic vision for health, safety, environment and quality matters Collaboration and engagement at an operational, tactical and strategic level to drive cultural and behavioural change External liaison developing collaborative relationships Formulation of a system that meets end user needs to obtain the performance standards – 9,14 & 45001 Management System Providing health and safety support, guidance and assurance to the Operational Management teams Development of communication mechanisms to enhance and promote HSQE Formulation of leading and lagging indicators to drive performance Provision of analytical information to allow board decisions on strategy Development of mechanisms to monitor health and safety climate and the implementation of the HSQE systems Communication with External Bodies (HSE, LA, EA etc.) Key Competencies Leadership and colleague development Industry sector knowledge HSQE experience Planning and organising Good time management skills Qualifications and Attributes Essential Qualifications and Experience NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Experience in the electrical sector HSQE Management experience Desirable Qualifications and Experience CMIOSH Chartered Membership of the institute of occupational health What next?
