Workman's Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded and long-established Social Housing Contractor renowned for its exceptional service in offering building maintenance and construction services to housing associations, councils, and the education sector for over the last 80 years in London and surrounding home counties.
You will need an experienced background in kitchen & bathrooms, cyclical works, windows, and internal/external decorations. You will be managing a team of internal and external subcontractors across multiple sites covering East and West Sussex.
Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day activities at the site level, ensuring work is conducted safely and in compliance with Health and Safety legislation. Manage a team of skilled trade staff and subcontractors across multiple sites. Establish solid relationships with clients, the public, and subcontractors to ensure the project's success. Conduct pre-work inspections, set up work areas, and perform post-inspections of completed projects. Monitor team productivity, report progress to the Contracts Manager, and ensure on-site welfare checks. Requirements:
Full UK Drivers License Previous experience in social housing/residential construction Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Company Package & Benefits:
