Accounts Receivable Manager The role is responsible for performing and supporting credit management activities within the organization in compliance with defined Group's credit policy. This involves performing customer classification and scoring processes, contributing to establishing means of payment and customer payment terms according to case scenarios, and performing customer credit limit assessment and update. Further, the role entails keeping track of customer credit exposure, executing payment requests and debt collection activities, and contributing to managing past due receivables and write-offs. Finally, the role requires gathering and processing data for KPIs and metrics to measure credit management performance, and generating reports for management. Further, the role entails processing and reconciling intercompany transactions, performing general ledger reconciliations, and contributing to the period end close processes. Finally, the role requires preparing accounting reports for internal and external stakeholders, and staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies on accounting processes, providing relevant updates to management. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Executes credit management activities in alignment with established Group’s credit policy and ensures adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards; Handles Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoice customer processing, payment collection, maintaining customer relations and up-to-date records of AR transactions; Performs customer classification and scoring processes, applying appropriate customer classifications and providing updates, and assigning scores to customers to represent their creditworthiness based on the Group’s scoring model and guidelines; Contributes to establishing means of payment and payment terms for customers according to case scenarios, considering deferment limits applicable to customers based on customer classification and scoring; Performs the assessment and update of customer credit limit within the framework established by management, including customer credit limit eligibility and setting criteria, and approval from relevant stakeholders; Keeps track of credit exposure for signs of default, reporting potential risks to management; Executes activities related to payment requests and debt collection based on credit ageing and amount; Contributes to managing overdue credit and credit write-offs, processing routine write-offs and preparing documentation for escalated cases; Gathers and processes data for KPIs and metrics to measure credit management effectiveness, generating reports for management with relevant insights and information for supporting overall evaluation and decision making (e.g., Group Net credit, credits ageing, average receivables collecting days, etc.); Works on the interim and year-end audit processes, which may include providing timely, accurate and concise lead schedules and responses to audit queries; Coaches and leads the team to reach their potential and deliver high quality results through regular interaction and clear expectation setting.
