Production Team Leader - Ready Meal Site

Neway International is looking for Production Team Leaders to join our client's fast-paced ready meal site in Newmarket. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a production team and ensure high-quality results.
Position Overview:
Job title: Production Team Leader Location: Newmarket Type: Temp to Perm Shifts: Rotating Shifts (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00) Pay Rate: £12.94 per hour (training rate), then £15.03 per hour (after training) Start Date: Immediate
As a Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring that daily production targets are met and that the team operates effectively. During the training period, you will start on the multi-skilled rate of £12.94 per hour. Once the training is successfully completed, you will transition to the full Team Leader role at £15.03 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of around 10 production staff Ensure production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards Oversee daily production activities and troubleshoot issues Uphold health and safety standards, maintaining a clean work environment Drive continuous improvement within the production process
Requirements: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to work rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00) Strong communication and interpersonal skills
