Mechanical & Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Location:
Barrow-in-Furness – 2/3 days onsite per week Salary:
£35k - £47k + overtime What you’ll be doing -
Mechanical Design Engineer Involved with the design of composite structures Calculations and reports Undertaking peer review checking activities to approve methods and calculations Supporting technical development and research activities, Supporting junior engineers within the team Supporting installation activities in the production environment Your skills and experiences -
Mechanical Design Engineer Mechanical Engineering Degree (or related STEM degree) Some understanding of material strength properties (elastic and plastic properties) Knowledge of MATLAB or MathCad Experienced in the use of SolidWorks or similar design package All successful Mechanical Design Engineers will be contacted within 2 days of application
