Engineering Apprentice

to join our technical team this

September . This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their skills through hands-on experience while pursuing a part-time college or university course. You’ll work

37.5 hours per week , which includes a day release for your studies. While we’re ideally seeking candidates starting at Level 3 or above,

we welcome applications from all levels —if you’re excited about engineering and a keen learner, we want to hear from you! What You'll Gain Mentorship : Learn from our experienced technical team. Practical Experience : Develop real-world skills in a professional setting. Educational Growth : Combine academic learning with practical application. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will be tailored to your role and experience level, with opportunities to develop skills in the following areas: Basic machining work

in the workshop, such as milling and turning. Component fault finding , including mechanical and electrical/electronic systems. Testing functionality and compatibility

of components. HMI/PLC programming

to develop and enhance system interfaces. Electrical cabinet wiring , gaining hands-on experience with electrical systems. Creation and analysis of CAD models

and/or engineering drawings and schematics. Drafting technical engineering documents

to support project and operational needs. All tasks will be completed under supervision, with full support and training provided. Applicants are not expected to have experience in these tasks. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking individuals who are: Willing to learn

and enthusiastic about engineering. Skilled in

verbal and written communication . Proficient in

IT

with strong

logical thinking . Organised and capable of

attention to detail . Effective

team players

with an understanding of

health and safety requirements . Skills & Qualifications Essential : Maths GCSE (grade 4+). English Language GCSE (grade 4+). Science GCSE(s) (grade 4+). Preferred : Previous

engineering experience . Knowledge of

coding

and/or

CAD . Ability to read and understand
