Our client, a highly regarded company in the [industry/sector], is seeking an experienced and motivated Credit Controller to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the company's debtor ledger to ensure timely collection of payments. Proactively monitor and chase outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure efficient resolution of payment issues. Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies. Prepare and distribute aged debtor reports to management. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and accounts, to resolve disputes and improve credit control processes. Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.

About You

Proven experience in a credit control or similar finance role. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in [specific accounting software, e.g., Sage, Xero] and Microsoft Excel. A strong sense of accountability and the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
