Workshop Supervisor

to work for a reputable client based at their Huntingdon depot.

The successful Workshop Supervisor will hold the overall responsibility of the yard/warehouse operations by providing excellent standards of service, efficiency, and performance.

Responsibilities of the Workshop Supervisor:

Efficiently managing a team of yard/depot staff, ensuring orders are correct and on time, and providing top quality customer service. Ensuring company compliance of all depot/yard policies, legislations and procedures as well as taking responsibility for health and safety issues of the warehouse/yard. Managing, monitoring, and developing a team of depot/yard staff. Ensuring workload is delegated based on skill level. Involvement in strategic development and improvements. Ensuring housekeeping is well maintained including excellent external presentation of our branch. Stock rotation and management of tools and equipment. Key holder and custodian with responsibility of depot open and lock up. Ensuring all assets are suitably serviced and PDI checked. Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions. Assigning work on PDA's. Overseeing DSE's work and providing hands-on assistance, guidance and training. Planning and executing repairs of damaged assets. Managing yard and workshop logistics.

Requirements of the Workshop Supervisor:

Previous supervisor/management experience, with a proven track record of managing a fast-paced environment - preferably within a yard or warehouse setting. Ideally someone who has previous mechanical or engineering experience. Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Full driving licence. Forklift truck licence is advantageous but not essential.

In return, the Workshop Supervisor will receive: Salary: £34,000 / Year Monday - Friday: 08:00am-17:00PM (40 Hours) 25 Days holiday + Bank Holiday Bereavement leave Company pension Health & wellbeing programme On-site parking
