Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Construction Engineer with a strong focus on EC&I (Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation) to join their team in Grangemouth or Renfrew, supporting major projects in the region. You will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of construction phases for electrical installations and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage construction work packs to align with project requirements. Conduct detailed drawing reviews to ensure compliance with technical and project specifications. Collaborate with estimating teams to provide accurate cost assessments for project scopes. Supervise and execute projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and timeline requirements. Oversee quality control processes, conducting inspections and ensuring adherence to standards. Coordinate with stakeholders to manage completions processes and ensure seamless project handovers. Maintain effective communication with site teams and project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

HNC Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) Certification in SMSTS/SSSTS Familiarity with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Experience in hazardous areas (Compex certification would be advantageous) Strong knowledge of EC&I systems with a particular emphasis on electrical systems

Key Attributes

Proven experience in project execution within construction and engineering environments. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Willingness to travel occasionally to other sites as project needs dictate.
