We are working on an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to join a leading Main Contractor supporting on a key project in Manchester. This position would suit a candidate with a strong construction background who is looking to join a business they can develop and grow with. There would be an expectation that you may need to travel to further projects when required.

The role:

Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and deliver the health & safety strategy. Build relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation, monitoring and reviewing health & safety trends within the division to identify areas of improvement. Develop and improve Health & Safety culture across the organisation. Liaise with site teams and build strong relationships. Manage 3rd party relationships and support on incident and accident investigation when required, ensuring lessons are learnt.

The candidate:

5 years + experience working in Health & Safety. Previous experience working in a managerial position and responsible for development and growth would be beneficial. Experience in the construction industry.
