To provide accounting services and financial advice for a number of the Council's responsibilities and in particular to act as the Council's key financial advisor on Revenue, Capital and Treasury matters. To analyse and report on key financial data within the organisation ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information. Key Responsibilities:
Manage, develop and motivate staff Prepare annual revenue and capital budgets Monitor income and expenditure Assist in the preparation of the annual accounts Complete statutory claim forms and statistical returns Prepare financial reports Monthly balance sheet reconciliation Treasury management Person Specification:
