We are working with a leading food production company committed to delivering high-quality products while driving innovation and efficiency. We are seeking a talented Process Engineer/Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team.

Job Summary:

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimising production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring product quality. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities for improvement, implement sustainable solutions, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimisation:

Analyse, design, and optimise production processes to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality. Continuous Improvement Projects:

Lead and support Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance. Data Analysis:

Collect and interpret process performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Problem Solving:

Investigate and resolve production issues, using root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. Collaboration:

Work closely with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to implement process changes effectively. Standardisation:

Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance. Training:

Provide training to staff on new processes, tools, and improvement methodologies. Sustainability:

Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and other sustainability goals. Compliance:

Ensure all process changes comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Relevant Engineering Qualifications Previous experience in process engineering or continuous improvement, preferably in the food production industry. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Knowledge of food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC) is advantageous. Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to driving results.
