The Role - EICA Project Engineer

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will support the Control & Instrumentation Engineer and the Projects Team in delivering projects across the site in the drive for digitalisation. You will help ensure that new and existing process equipment is effectively controlled to both satisfy the requirements of the internal customer and safeguard a future-proofed solution. You will also be responsible for the technical and cost aspects of project work with due regard for any relevant legislation, including health, safety, and environmental requirements. Projects will be delivered by the effective management of external contractors or maintenance team members as appropriate.

Proven experience in a control and automation role within a heavy plant industry Experience of a range of industrial instrumentation HNC in Electrical/Control Engineering PLC Programming Course Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook Self-motivated and must have the ability to use own initiative, prioritise tasks and work well under pressure Methodical with superb attention to detail Culture: Be Part of Something Bigger
