Role Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to test, chlorinate, and take samples to facilitate the commissioning of new water networks. The role requires working to industry standards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, technical specifications, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities Health and Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safe working practices in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974). Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Conduct daily site-specific risk assessments and maintain a safe working environment. Testing and Commissioning:

Perform water infrastructure testing, chlorination, and sampling according to client standards and applicable Codes of Practice. Ensure technical quality by following method statements, work procedures, and safety instructions. Execute testing activities to enable the completion of final and secondary (complex and non-complex) water connections. Operational Duties:

Accept and inspect deliveries of plant and materials for fitness before use. Maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment in good condition, reporting any defects promptly. Record and submit accurate work details for project documentation and invoicing within required timelines. Collaboration and Reporting:

Identify and report contract variations to the Project Manager in accordance with company procedures. Attend toolbox talks and relevant training sessions as required. Perform additional duties within the scope of experience, as directed by the Project Manager. Essential:

* SHEA Water certification. * National Water Hygiene certification. * Experience with pressure testing, chlorination, and water sampling. * Full UK driving license. Desirable:

* Strong understanding of water industry regulations and practices. * Pipeline Commissioning. * NCO1 Water. * Effective communication and organizational skills.
