Our client is one of the UK's largest food producers who are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
Electrical OR Mechanical bias
Monday to Friday shift pattern covering early & lates: Week 1: 5am - 1.30pm Week 2: 12pm - 8.30pm
Competitive salary package with higher rates for multi-skilled engineers.
The Role
Maintenance, repair and installation of production equipment. Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems. Carry out preventative maintenance work, completing PM records and CMMS. Work to good health, safety and hygiene standards. Respond to breakdowns or technical issues quickly. Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering projects. Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Problem solve and fault find effectively.
What we are looking for
Minimum Level 3 qualified in Electrical or Engineering discipline. Proven maintenance experience in production, manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience fault finding on automated PLC equipment. Multi-skilled experience across electrical & mechanical systems. Can work efficiently in a fast-paced, high volume setting. Food/FMCG experience is beneficial.
