Spare Tyre is developing a new sensory show for older people with dementia and their carers. We are returning to the Stephen Joseph Theatre, in Scarborough, to draw inspiration from local history and interests which we will explore sensorily with participants. The Project Producer will be a key member of the team, leading the organisation of a Research & Development week in Scarborough, working closely with the Spare Tyre core team in London.

We are looking for an established freelance Producer with experience of small-scale touring into arts and community/care settings, and an excellent understanding and enjoyment of relationship-building and partnership working. You will have a great eye for detail, an ability to anticipate inclusion and access needs, and a deep interest in people. If you haven’t had previous experience of the impact of sensory practice for people living with dementia, you’ll be willing to learn about it with us.
