Interim Finance Manager Location: Crawley, UK (Hybrid) Are you ready to take your finance expertise to the next level in a dynamic and meaningful industry? With decades of experience and a global presence, we are looking for a skilled Interim Finance Manager to join a team on a 3-6 month contract, offering flexible working arrangements with at least two days a week in the office. About the Role: As our Interim Finance Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting innovative and life-enhancing treatments. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll take on a range of financial responsibilities while improving processes and contributing to meaningful projects. What You'll Do: Prepare journals for labour distribution, accruals, pre-payments, and fixed assets for end-of-month reports. Assist in producing monthly management accounts and preparing quarterly VAT and EU sales list returns. Submit regulatory returns and manage reconciliation tasks (e.g., bank payments, Visa business cards, payroll support). Oversee clinical trial agreements, tracking payments and invoicing sponsors. Enhance financial systems and processes, including the use of Replicon for timesheets. Step in for the Financial Controller during absences when needed. What We're Looking For: Education & Qualifications: * A-level standard or equivalent (Bachelor's degree or accounting qualifications are a bonus). * Relevant accounting experience is essential—qualified by experience is welcome. Experience & Skills: * At least 5 years in a financial role. * Proficiency in Sage 50, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Word. * Strong organisational skills with a detail-oriented mindset. * Comfortable working independently or as part of a team, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. * Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving attitude.
