You will be part of a team in the Imaging Department responsible for the provision of a safe, efficient, high-quality service working in accordance with the Imaging Department and Trust protocols. The post holder will be expected to maintain and develop high standards of patient care amongst peers, students, colleagues, and users of imaging services.
The Senior Radiographer will support the Imaging Department Senior team in achieving the departmental and Trust objectives and will supervise and advise newly qualified/junior radiographers, undergraduate students, and assistant practitioners.
You will be required to work flexibly – weekday/weekend and out of hour duties, as we are a 7-day working department. Posts will include participation in the on-call rota.

The post-holder will participate in the effective running of the MRI service under the direction of the senior staff, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care.
Ensuring the MRI service is maintained with training of staff to perform in accordance with Trusts policy including comprehensive competency assessments.
In liaison with senior radiographers, the post holder will provide supervision of junior staff, students, and assistant practitioners.
