Hours:
Standard hours are 7:00 - 15:30. Engineers are paid for 10 hour days to cover travel time. No weekend work but 1 in 25 Saturday call out may be required. Overtime available but not essential, paid at 1.5x rate.

Job Profile: The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional maintenance and repair services across a range of HVAC systems. This individual will work independently on various projects, ensuring efficient equipment operation and contributing to the overall effectiveness of engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance and repairs on split/multi split systems, DX and CW FCUs • Independently service VRV and VRF condensers and CRAC units • Compile detailed dilapidation reports • Conduct preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive repair needs • Perform advanced fault finding and diagnostics • Deliver accurate and timely work reports to a high standard • Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, standards, and company policies • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of health and safety procedures

Requirements / Skills: • Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent qualification • Category 1 F-Gas certification or equivalent • Full UK driving licence • Strong ability to work collaboratively with engineering and office-based teams • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work • Experience with manufacturer service software • Understanding of HVAC data and performance metrics • Experience with chillers, AHUs, and refrigeration systems (desirable)
