This role is working day shifts Monday to Friday (40 hour week), and the role comes with an attractive salary up to £40,000 per annum (DOE).

The hiring manager is looking for a hands-on Engineer who has a proven background in either Automotive, Motorsport, Automotive Engineering, Motorsport Engineering, Off-Highway, or Defence. Experience working to ISO, IATF, and APQP quality standards is essential, and a Degree or equivalent in Automotive Engineering, Motorsport Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

What You Will Do:

Develop and maintain quality and process engineering skills, embracing continuous professional development and company-supported training. Interpret business objectives, ensuring compliance through the development of Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures. Design and develop innovative products, tooling, and test equipment, contributing to the company's legacy of excellence. Undertake Quality Assurance activities, including monitoring, testing, inspecting, and auditing to ensure product and service conformity. Develop and manage efficient production and engineering techniques, enhancing the company's capabilities. Propagate quality awareness, knowledge, and skills across the team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring: Degree or equivalent in automotive engineering, motorsport engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with business and IT systems like Epicor E10. Knowledge and experience in ISO, IATF, APQP, and a background in quality and project management.

Location: This role is based in Smethwick, West Midlands.
