Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Engineering Administrator
required to join a market leading engineering supplier based in Greater London.
The successful candidate shall be responsible for technical advice, generating quotations, order processing, expediting, documentation, administration, invoicing, proposals and other aspects of customer service for compressed air systems & associated mechanical engineering products.
The ideal candidate should come from a sales, technical support, customer service or technical background associated with engineering. Full training is provided; however, having previously sold an engineering product, spare parts, or a background working in an engineering environment is beneficial.

Role Responsibilities
Give technical advice and guidance on correct compressed air related product selection as per customers' needs. Generate & provide quotations & proposals of compressed air systems & associated mechanical engineering products to customers. Provide technical support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer services - e.g. order processing, expediting, documentation etc. Learn all aspects of administration which includes order processing, invoicing, checking order confirmations. Product specification plus after sales and service support. Liaise with various engineering departments. Commutable to the office daily near Chessington, Greater London.
Requirements Full training is provided; however, having previously sold an engineering product, spare parts, or a background working in an engineering environment is beneficial. Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft office, ERP, CRM or similar software. Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Sales Advisor, or similar customer service position, ideally within engineering. Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment - mechanical or industrial engineering products is advantageous but not essential. Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in engineering would be beneficial. Must be commutable to the office near Chessington, Greater London or willing to relocate.
