Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

Attend planned and unplanned work across various fields: electrical, mechanical, water systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Service, test, diagnose, and repair process control systems and automatic control devices. Respond to defects, faults, and client requests, identifying root causes to prevent reoccurrence. Oversee contractors and maintain accurate maintenance records on the onsite CAFM system. Be on the on-call roster for out-of-hours engineering coverage. Obtain Authorised Persons H.V / LV qualifications if not already attained. Report to the Assistant Site Manager daily.

Minimum Requirements:

Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ; AM2 2392, 2394, 2395 or equivalent). Current in 18th Ed Wiring Regulations. AP in HV / LV qualification. C&G 2396 design of electrical circuits. Inspecting and testing of Portable Appliance Equipment. Experience in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment. Knowledge of BMS & PPM systems. IT literate. Full clean driving licence. Flexible approach to working methods. Capable of working under pressure and leading a team. Responsive to emergency work situations. Fault finding capabilities. Ability to work at height.
