A Senior Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineer is required to design bespoke asset monitoring solutions that will integrate with physical parts, such as wheel bearings, brakes, and engines, to meet rail customer requirements.
Working with the project and technical team leaders from conception to installation on customer sites.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on and capable of hardware assembly of the system, as well as rigorous testing to ensure quality is validated and performance levels are maintained or increased.
In addition to a thorough understanding of electrical and electronic systems, the Electrical/Electronics Engineer will be able to create design documentation and technical documentation, including testing data, project timescales, and product costings for the technical project lead.
