Thank you for your interest in the Trust role of Head of IT. This exciting role is pivotal to the success of the Bosco Catholic Education Trust, its schools, staff, and children. The position demands both strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise to drive digital transformation, ensure robust IT infrastructure, and implement key projects. As we continue to grow, with 11 schools already in the Trust, 2 more joining soon, and an additional 21 planned, we are looking for someone who will grow with the Trust. We are advertising for a full-time role, but we are flexible about working arrangements and are happy to explore secondments, part-time working, or other models to secure the right candidate. Based at our Trust offices in Burgess Hill, this role involves travel across Sussex to support our schools. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with exceptional interpersonal skills, a creative mindset, and a ‘can-do’ attitude. A key priority will be centralising IT systems across the Trust, including unifying schools under one Microsoft tenancy to streamline collaboration and efficiency. You will work closely with our Trust leadership team, school-based leaders, and technical colleagues. More than just experience and qualifications, we are seeking someone who shares our ethos, values people, and demonstrates high emotional intelligence. The schools in Bosco CET are vibrant, diverse, and welcoming communities that uphold high standards and strive for excellence. As Head of IT, your work will be crucial in enabling our schools, and the Trust, to achieve their ambitions. We are committed to investing in our staff and celebrating their contributions. If you believe this challenging but rewarding opportunity is the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you. BOSCO Catholic Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We particularly welcome applications from underrepresented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or religion.
