HR Recruit is currently seeking an experienced L&D Manager for our client based in Harlow to lead the internal Learning and Development strategy. This involves increasing overall company performance by ensuring all staff have the right mix of qualifications, experience and skills to drive the business forward. Reporting into the Head of HR, there is accountability for 1 direct report.

Role Responsibilities Work with HR and key stakeholders to set the direction of L&D activity and align the L&D strategy to the overall People and Company Strategies. Support HR and contribute to the development of our Culture including but not limited to developing a behavioural framework, supporting colleague engagement initiatives and continuous performance management. Identify and report on KPIs, measure effectiveness of training and amend accordingly. Carry out training needs analysis, and develop and implement a blended learning curriculum, using appropriate resources to match identified needs. Research, design and deliver innovative learning interventions to meet our needs including learning and webinar technology e.g. multi-channel and blended learning, with a focus on soft skills and behaviours. Design, facilitate and evaluate workshops, team building events, and development, mentor and apprenticeship programmes. Link the competency framework with the L&D offering with benchmarked training and competence requirements. Work with departments to map career development paths, identifying clear thresholds. Support talent management, succession planning and pre-induction and onboarding programmes. Apply inclusion and diversity principles to the delivery Learning & Development solutions, activities and decisions to build and nurture a diverse workplace. Person Specification Exceptional communication, rapport building and influencing skills. You will be confident, proactive, able to work closely with key stakeholders up to C-Suite level. You must have L&D experience within a regulated environment. A solid background in Learning and Development, gained in L&D Partner/Manager roles operating in an autonomous, decision-making capacity. Significant experience of designing and delivering training and presentations. Up to date knowledge of Learning and Development practices and challenges. In return you will receive a salary of between £50,000-£60,000 (depending on experience).
