Responsibilities include: Co-operating with different stakeholders to ensure deadlines and reporting requirements are met Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures Preparing statutory accounts at year end including assisting with the annual audit process Supporting with the development of models and providing commentary on analysis Preparing journals for Group entities Understanding control procedures and preparing monthly reconciliations Driving improvements in the efficiency of process and systems within the finance department Giving technical accounting advice on IFRS standards (IFRS 9) to different business stakeholders Adhoc project work on request
You will be: A Qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) with strong technical knowledge (In particular IFRS 9) An excellent communicator across all levels A team player Able to deliver highly accurate results within tight time frames Able to adapt to different requirements within a complex business
