Sales Director The Role To ensure my client retains their position at the forefront of this exciting and rapidly developing logistics industry, we are currently seeking an experienced Sales Director from this sector. It is essential that they find people who will share their company values and want to be part of their future success. If you relish a challenge, and feel you have what it takes to work at the peak of the global logistics industry, our client is looking for the best talent to develop their sales performance. Role Overview: Lead the sales team to successfully develop the business growth of the branch, leading from the front, and developing new client opportunities. Focus primarily on ocean freight but also looking at other suitable opportunities in both air and road freight. Build partnerships with new and existing customers and be the face of the sales team. Key Responsibilities: Develop multi-channel solutions. Coach and mentor a team of two colleagues and grow the team as needed. Essential Requirements: 3-4 years logistics or supply chain business development, ideally with a ready-made list of clients that can be integrated at pace. Established network within logistics with primary focus on ocean and air freight. Strong leadership skills with a track record of being a hands-on leader. They are looking for a self-starter who is proactive, approachable, resilient, and a team player, who can multi-task, manage priorities, and who is task-driven and can constructively challenge at all levels both internally and externally along with excellent communication skills.
